I should've added an extra link to that previous post.

The WHoB henceforth shall take an OATH OF SILENCE to protest the fact that we currently have someone who does NOT represent us, nor our ideas, leading us into a pointless war of bullying and bomb-dropping.

People shall die, towns shall burn, and it shall all be done

NOT IN OUR NAME.

Folks, I apologize if I'm not answering any emails or appear to be ignoring y'all . . . I just have to do some serious soul-searching now.

working woes

As unemployed and penniless as I may be, I must say that I'm glad I'm not in Ozma's shoes. I've used this bad pun before and I'll do it again: good thing I haven't fallen into the GAP. I hope the damn store pays for the dentist bills, because it was an incident on the job. But then, it's a cosmetic problem, unless your bite or smile's messed up, so I don't know how much they'd be willing to pay. And what about worker's comp?

Speaking of employment: is it rude for an employer to tell a prospective employee that she'd call him in a week, but then let the week pass without any news? I'm feeling incredibly snubbed -- and insulted, too, because I firmly believe that I am a PERFECT fit for the job. Can't say much for her, though.... Part of the excuse, from the lips of the secretary, is that her supervisor was sick last Friday -- but that shouldn't back up work for a week, should it? And I don't know if I should call again; if I don't I may never know who's getting my job, since it obviously ain't me, but if I DO then I might be deemed a nosy SOB. What to do, what to do...

Forget the term "job hunt" -- it's more of a TREASURE hunt, if you ask me.
